Each batch of Ellenos starts with fresh, rBST-free milk sourced from a local farm. We cook it with care, preserving the integrity of the milk and creating our signature ultra-creamy texture. Next, we add a secret blend of probiotic cultures. Our finishing touch is fruit puree, made in-house with bold and bright flavors. The delicious outcome is an indulgent, unique yogurt with joy in every bite!

Our best-by dates are printed on the foil lids for all of our products. Additionally, they can also be found on the plastic lids of our multi-serve offerings.

We use Whole (Full Fat) Milk.
Every batch of Ellenos starts with fresh milk from a local family dairy in Washington State. The cows are not treated with artificial growth hormones, and all of the milk used in Ellenos is rBST/rBGH-free.
We don’t use gluten or wheat-containing ingredients in the yogurt itself, but Wheat is present in our cookie crumble toppers found in a few of our products. Our Allergen Management Program ensures we do not carry over any allergens, including Wheat to products that do not contain such allergens.
We do not use Peanuts in any of our products and our manufacturing facility is Peanut Free. All tree nuts intentionally used in any of our products will be listed on the ingredient/allergy label found on each cup. For example, tree nuts are intentionally used in our Coconut Cream Pie flavor (Coconut) as well as our Blueberry Pomegranate flavor with a Nuts and Seeds Granola (Almonds, Pecans, Coconut).
General
On the night before opening day at Pike Place Market, our co-founder, Con Apostolopoulos, invented the name “Ellenos.” Because our yogurt was influenced by incredible yogurt traditions from both Greece and Australia, Con knew he wanted to honor both countries. After taking “Ellen” from “Hellenic” meaning “Greek,” and adding “Os” taken from “Oz” to represent Australia — he put them both together to create “Ellenos.”
