Jalapeño Lime Crema

Ellenos Plain Unsweetened makes the perfect creamy base for this quick and tangy sauce with a hint of spice. Ideal when paired with tacos, enchiladas, burritos, sandwiches, and more!

Ingredients: 

  • ¾ cup Ellenos Unsweetened yogurt (170 grams)
  • 1 jalapeno, roughly diced
  • 1 lime, juiced (about 1-2 tablespoons)
  • 1 cup cilantro, chopped (almost a whole bunch, depending on size)
  • ½ cup water

 

Equipment: 

  • Blender

 

YIELD PREP TIME TOTAL TIME
~1 cup of sauce 5 minutes 5 minutes

 

Instructions: 

  1. Combine all the ingredients in a blender
  2. Blend until smooth
  3. Transfer to a sealed container and keep refrigerated for up to 5 days
